Youth Cheerleading

We will have multiple squads with a combination of grades 3rd -6th on each squad. We will be using last year’s uniforms. The cost of a new uniform will be approximately $130.00. This price includes uniform, briefs, socks and poms. We will only have ONE uniform fitting. It will be at Hilltop Elementary Tuesday, May 13th. The fitting for future 3rd and 4th graders will be 3:15 – 4:30, future 5th and 6th graders from 4:30 – 5:30. If you are unable to attend this fitting, please contact Laura Ammons prior to May. You will need to pay for the uniform at the time of the fitting.

Cheer camp will be July 21st – July 24th, 12:30-4:30 for 3rd - 6th grades. The cost is $75. You are not required to attend, but it is HIGHLY recommended. THE DEADLINE FOR REGISTERING FOR AYSA CHEERLEADING IS MAY 5th. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE!

Drill Team
Attention Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Graders

This fall Argyle Youth Booster Club is offering a cool drill/dance/pep squad for kindergarten thru second grades. The team will perform at the Argyle Elementary football games. The girls will have the opportunity to learn two dances and cheerleading cheers & chants. They will perform a dance routine at halftime and then cheer along with the cheerleaders. Everything we do will be with their attention spans and learning ability in mind. This is a great opportunity for the younger girls to show support for the Hilltop Elementary football teams. FUN!!!!

Commitments for 2008

* Aug 10th   Ice Cream Social .  
  There will be an ice cream social and parents meeting at Hilltop Playground (info was sent during summer)..   

* Aug 11th - 15th    5:30pm -7:00pm at Hilltop Elem. gym.  Mandatory Mini Camp.
  The dances and cheers will be taught during this time.   

* Aug 18th, 20th, 27th    4:00pm – 5:30pm Practice.
All teams will practice together

* Sept. 3rd    4:00pm – 5:30pm Practice at Football field .
All teams will take turns practicing on the football field (we will meet at the football field)

* Sept. 8th thru end of Oct    4:00pm – 5:30pm Practice once a week .
We will practice Monday or Wednesday depending upon which team your daughter is on.

* Perform at Football games on Sat. during football season, ending in October.  Games are relaxed and fun.

* Dates Set Later Fall Festival, Homecoming Parade and High School Football Game Performance
